Dr. Jason R. Paige was born in Hampton, Virginia. He attended Bethel High School there and received his diploma in 1998. After graduation he attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. During his time at JMU, he volunteered at the Harrisonburg Free Clinic shadowing and assisting the dentist. In 2002 he earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in pre-dentistry. Dr. Paige chose Virginia Commonwealth University – School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA for his dental education.
After dental school he was an associate at Hackett Family Dentistry with Dr. Charles J. Hackett for one year. In October of 2007, he bought one of Dr. Hackett’s existing practices, turning it from a pediatric office into a general practice for the entire family.
Since that time, he has mentored numerous college students interested in dentistry. He volunteers at the VCU-School of Dentistry for the Impressions Program, which helps undergraduate students understand and navigate the admissions process for dental school. He speaks at summer enrichment programs for high school students to get them interested in dentistry as a profession. He also volunteers his time at the Daily Planet Dental Clinic.
Since the beginning of his career, he has always been a member of the Peter B. Ramsey Dental Society and the Old Dominion Dental Society. He currently sits on the executive committee of both organizations.
Dr. Paige is married to the love of his life, Jamelle Foster. In his free time he likes to read and visit the food festivals in Richmond.
